A head of the Fiber Optics laboratory of the Radiophysics Department.


Was born on the 7th of September in 1945 in Leningrad.
1968 graduated from the Radiophysical science and engineering faculty of Leningrad State Technical University (now SPbSPU) in the specialty of engineer-radiophysicist.
1968 began research activities at the Quantum Electronics Department.
1979 became a docent at the Quantum Electronics Department.
1995 became a professor at the Radiophysics Department of the faculty of Radiophysical science and engineering.


Scientific interests:

Fiber Optics, SM and MM fiber-optic interferometers, phase and polarization sensors, anisotropic optical fibers, gas and semiconductor lasers and the techniques for receiving the optical signals.


Qualifications:

1968 the diploma of an engineer-radiophysicist.
1976 the defense of a dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical sciences.
1995 the defense of a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
